On-device AI / Devices & setup
Your words. Your device.
Here's what needs to be ready.
Talori's AI helps you capture information and find the right wording. It's optional: entries, returns and standard reminders work without AI, too.

01 / The hardware
Apple lists iPhone 15 Pro models, iPhone 16 models and newer compatible models as a requirement for Apple Intelligence.
Talori's on-device AI requires iOS 26 or later. Apple Intelligence must be enabled, models must be fully downloaded and the on-device model must support your language. Apple's regional restrictions also apply.
iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, older iPhones and all iPhone SE models do not support Apple Intelligence. If your device meets Talori's operating system requirements, you can still use the app without the additional on-device AI features.
Apple Intelligence is also available on certain iPads and Macs. A dedicated iPad version of Talori is planned, but is not yet available.
02 / A few simple steps
Open Settings → General → Software Update and install an up-to-date version of iOS 26 or later. Apple Intelligence itself may already be available on earlier iOS versions, but Talori's on-device model features require iOS 26.
Open Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri and enable Apple Intelligence if it is turned off.
According to Apple, your device language and Siri language must be set to the same supported language. In Talori, choose a language that the on-device model also supports. A translated app interface does not guarantee AI support.
Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi and a power source. Apple lists 7 GB of device storage as a requirement. Model downloads can take time after an update or language change. Talori cannot install these models itself.
During onboarding and in settings, Talori shows whether on-device AI is available and what may be missing. Review every AI draft before saving it or sharing a suggested message yourself.
03 / App language is not AI language
Talori's interface supports German, English, Swedish, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese (Portugal), Norwegian (Bokmål), Russian, Danish, Finnish and Turkish.
German, English, Swedish, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Norwegian, Danish and Turkish appear in Apple's current general language list for Apple Intelligence. Individual features and the on-device Foundation Models model may differ.
Finnish and Russian are not currently on that general Apple list. Talori's interface is available in both languages; on-device AI in those languages is not promised here. Manual features remain usable.
Talori checks model availability and language support at runtime. Even a language check cannot rule out every later rejection by the model. That is why there is no blanket promise that every AI feature works in every app language.
04 / If something is still missing
Enable it under Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri. If this setting is unavailable on a compatible device, check the iOS version, language and Apple's regional requirements.
Leave your iPhone connected to Wi-Fi and power, check available storage and wait for the download. A language change can trigger another download. Talori cannot force it; manual features remain available.
Use Talori without AI or deliberately choose a language supported by the on-device model and adjust the device and Siri languages according to Apple's requirements. Choosing a website language does not change any setting on your iPhone.
Available AI features include Quick Capture drafts and writing suggestions for reminder messages. They require a supported device and an available local Apple model. You review and confirm the results yourself; ordinary reminders do not require AI. Automatic photo/scan analysis is currently disabled.
Clear information, not blanket promises
This information is based on Apple's published requirements and Talori's checks of on-device model availability. Device, language and regional support may change with Apple updates. Last updated: 6 September 2026.
